The first rays of the sun
came in
She felt its heat bathing
her bare body
Her limbs are numb
and lifeless
She looked at the man
beside her
His face says nothing
but malice
She was pleased that
it met its end
She can still remember
the night before
How he made a savage
out of her
How his actions made
her do that crime
The ally of her crime
is still in her hands
Only the gore had
dried and darken
But the smell of felony
still reeks in the room
For the second time
she gazed at him
Touched his cold face
ran her fingers through his hair
With tears in her eyes
she kissed him
The police she called
earlier came
She has no plans
of escaping
She’ll face the consequences
of her crime
Prison is just a room
with cold iron bars
Better than the life
she had with him…
